Introduction

Discrimination is something the trans community deals with every day in many different ways. It’s something trans people have been fighting against since the beginning with Marsha P. Johnson and Sylvia Rivera at the forefront in 1969. But honestly, we were dealing with discrimination against us centuries before that.  Those two women stood up against not just straight people but also against cisgender gay people. We have been discriminated against for centuries and its time we put our foot down and stomp out discrimination against us.
